Rivendell Technologies is a high‑power microwave company based in the United States and Canada. We build next-gen, customized microwave power systems that make industrial microwave practical at higher power levels—without forcing customers into fragile setups, runaway costs, or limited control.
Our focus is on the electrification of the industrial realm: we design and build systems that combine, stabilize, and control industrial magnetrons to enable high-power microwaves for real production environments. We support customers from first testing through scale‑up and deployment, with a strong emphasis on repeatability, safety, and measurable performance.
Origin Story
Rivendell was founded around a gap the industry kept ignoring.
Magnetrons dominate industrial microwaves because they’re efficient and cost‑effective, but they’ve traditionally come with limitations: power ripple, frequency drift, and a practical ceiling on scalable output power. Solid‑state RF solves many control problems, but at high power it often becomes difficult to justify on cost and efficiency grounds.
We took a different path: bring cost-effective control to magnetrons, and use that control to solve the harder challenge—high‑power combining and stability.
That work became Narya: a platform designed to deliver high‑power microwave output with the kind of control engineers expect, in a package that still makes sense to install, operate, and maintain.
